Asset overview

What this node setup does

MESH INPUT: drop on a mesh, or feed mesh geometry to Source. Apply object scale for predictable distances. Simulation: play sequentially from the start frame; reset/bake caches after source changes. | Liquid solver (experimental) - a level-set liquid on a voxel grid: the source becomes a signed-distance body that falls under gravity, stops at a floor and any collider, and re-meshes each frame as a smooth surface. Falling and collision are verified; pooling and spreading need a converged pressure solve and are not yet correct - the body compresses on landing. Use for falling and splash-contact shots, not standing water.

Source and setup notes

Source asset name: OMNI - Liquid Solver

Collection: Physics & Solvers/Fluid & Grain

Structural inspection used Blender 5.2.0 LTS. Other releases and render engines require separate checks.

How to approach this asset

  1. Check the source notes for the expected mesh, curve, field, shader or World context.
  2. Start with a disposable scene and a suitable input. Inspect required object, material or collection inputs.
  3. Adjust one documented control at a time. Evaluate the result before using it in a production project.
