Asset overview

What this node setup does

MESH BOOLEAN: drop on closed mesh A, choose Object B (different object), or wire Geometry B. Object B uses relative transforms; hide its render visibility yourself if unwanted. Instances can be realized. Union / Difference A-B / Intersect with concave fillet iterations, operand/final offsets and mean smoothing. Missing B bypasses A by default. Voxel remesh replaces source topology/UVs/materials; use bundled Material or override. Preview Mode affects final output too. Resolution guard limits longest-axis sampling, not total RAM. Offsets/threshold are band-limited. Highlight B is nearest-surface proximity, not exact provenance. Closed manifold operands recommended; thin/open meshes may disappear. Native Blender 5.2 SDF nodes.

Source and setup notes

Source asset name: OMNI - SDF Blend

Collection: Volume & SDF Grids/SDF Operations (Offset Fillet Mean)

Structural inspection used Blender 5.2.0 LTS. Other releases and render engines require separate checks.

How to approach this asset

  1. Check the source notes for the expected mesh, curve, field, shader or World context.
  2. Start with a disposable scene and a suitable input. Inspect required object, material or collection inputs.
  3. Adjust one documented control at a time. Evaluate the result before using it in a production project.
